The weird-spanish-messages-bug has just been fixed Aug 31st, 2008

You may have noticed a strange localization bug on symfonians for some weeks, displaying notices and system messages in spanish (even if you browse the site using another locale), this was due to a bug in sfLucenePlugin - which I have fixed with an axe.
I'm thinking about making a patch, but this one is quite tricky!
Anyway, there won't be strange and confusing spanish messages anymore starting from now (well, except if you browse the spanish version of the site ;))

Thanks to josx, symfonians is now available in a spanish flavor.
Also, you might have been encountering problems to create an account recently, this has just been fixed, sorry for the inconvenience.

Sign of success? The first spam accout has been created on symfonians.net yesterday. The spammer used his account to send kind of SCAM messages to some of the members, with a simple Hello, subject.
Of course, ignore his message if you received it, and sorry for the inconvenience.
Edit: I've added an antiflood system to symfonians.net, now you cannot send two messages in less than five minuts through the contact sytem. Thank you spammers.

Do I need to say more? Nope. So the source code of Symfonians.net is from now available through a dedicated Trac/SVN instance located at Symfonians.org and released under the terms of the Creative Commons BY-SA 3.0 license.
I guess there won't be a lot of checkouts, but I hope this will be useful for people learning Symfony, or will give some ideas to others.
Champagne !

Sorry english-speaking dudes, you may have been a bit disturbed by the beginning of this post, but the french version of the Symfonians website is alive, if your DNS are kind enough to purge their cache according to my DNS TTL configuration ;)
If you're interested by providing a translation of the website interface in your language, drop me an email through the contact form of this site.
