Yahoo! is looking for talented PHP engineers. You will work with the most interesting and unreleased services, collaborate with different teams in and outside the company to make integrations happen, and use the technologies that generate the best results.

The ideal candidate for this position has solid experience developing web applications, frontend development experience is a plus. In addition, the ideal candidate must have great communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts, be self-motivated, and take responsibility and ownership of their projects. He or she needs to enjoy delighting customers and helping them reach their objectives.

Candidates should also fulfill the following requirements:

* A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years of industry software development experience
* Solid programming experience in JavaScript and PHP (also useful: Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, and Unix shell scripting)
* Solid understanding of web technologies (X/HTML, CSS, and web standards)
* Good understanding of Internet protocols (HTTP, SMTP, REST, XML)
* Strong experience in integrating software systems and web applications
* Good attention to detail and high standards for quality
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
