Exciting web start-up seeks pro Symfony developer. The project will centre on the design and development of a social network website in a LAMP environment. You will we working from clearly defined wireframes and interaction design, however this role will involve thinking creatively to solve problems with the team.
The project is well organized, applicants will be responsible for developing modular components of the project, which must interact with other components of the site. It is important that applicants will be able to provide an accurate breakdown of necessary timeframes for each module.
You must be a strong object-oriented PHP and MySQL developer with the following experience:
Essential:
* PHP 4/5
* PHP frameworks, Symfony specifically.
* Computer Science educated is preferred or minimum of 3 years in object oriented programming.
* SQL / MySQL
Desirable:
* an understanding of HTML/CSS would be an advantage.
* XML Integration experience.
* Javascript/AJAX experience.
