Blaffin, Inc is a BtoB social media marketing company based in New York City. We work with top brands to improve fan engagement through photo and video contests. But we're growing and building new features all the time. It's an exciting place to work.
Our CTO is currently working from Brazil (Spanish-speaking with limited English) and he needs some help completing a number of features and functionalities over the next few months. Most of the design work is done - he just needs some support to accelerate our progress.
The optimal candidate for us would report to him in the near term as we build-out our US team but hopefully would advance quickly to become a full-time resource and potentially lead development activities here in the US (preferably the NYC / NJ / CT area). This is an option - not a necessity but if we love you. We might try to hire you to lead the team.
Requirements: We need someone who has pretty solid experience coding in the PHP symfony 1.4 framework. The candidate must speak Spanish as a second language at a minimum and be available at least 20 hours per week now with the hopes that this would be full-time as soon as possible.
